Privacy policy

Last updated 23 September 2026. This policy covers the Android app CSCS Test 2026 Mock & Revision (package uk.greencardprep.app) and this website.

The short version

The app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location or contacts. It shows no adverts, contains no analytics or advertising kits, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect any personal data through the app.

Data that stays on your device

Your progress is saved on your phone only. That includes the questions you have answered, your mock test scores, your topic scores, the test date you choose to enter, your help language and your theme setting. The app also creates a random install code on the device, which is not linked to you and is never sent anywhere by the app. None of this is uploaded to a server. When you delete the app, or use Reset progress in Settings, this data is removed.

Data that leaves your device

The question bank is built into the app, so practice works offline and the app does not send your answers or scores to us or to anyone else. Information only leaves your phone when you choose to send it yourself. If you email us from the Settings screen or report a question, your own email app opens with a pre-filled message that may include the question number, the app version and the install code, and you can read or delete any of it before you press send. If you share your result slip, it goes only to the app or person you pick in the share sheet.

Purchases

Full access is a one-off in-app purchase handled entirely by Google Play billing. There is no subscription and nothing renews. We never see or store your card details or Google account details, and the app only receives confirmation from Google Play that a purchase has been paid, which it uses to unlock the full question bank on your device. Google processes payment data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Ratings

After you pass a mock test the app may ask whether you would like to rate it. The rating screen is provided by Google Play and anything you write there is handled by Google, not by us.

Children

The app is intended for adults preparing for work on UK construction sites and is not directed at children. Because no personal data is collected, no information about any user, of any age, reaches us through the app.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. Through the app we hold none. If you have emailed us, we keep that email only as long as we need it to answer you, and we will delete it on request.

Changes

If the way the app handles data changes, for example if an update adds a feature that needs to send data, we will update this page and the date at the top before that update is released.
